The AFLW competition returns on Friday night with plenty of excitement.

Richmond and St Kilda will kick off the 2022 season when they face off against each other on Friday night at Skybus Stadium.

The Western Bulldogs will take on Melbourne on Saturday for the Hampson-Hardeman Cup at Whitten Oval.

Geelong will be on North Melbourne’s home territory when they face the Roos at Arden Street for a Saturday twilight match, while Fremantle will host Adelaide under lights.

Arch-rivals Carlton and Collingwood, who normally kick off the season, will go head to head in an afternoon match on Sunday at Ikon Park.

The Gold Coast Suns will host Greater Western Sydney, while reigning premiers the Brisbane Lions will travel to Perth to play West Coast in the final game of the round.
