The City West Falcons will be back on court on March 16 in the Victorian Netball League.
Netball Victoria released the fixture for next year’s season, with it kicking off earlier than normal.
The Falcons, who were undefeated when the 2021 season was cancelled due to the pandemic, face the North East Blaze in round one across all three grades.
The Falcons will travel to Geelong in round two to play the Geelong Cougars at Christian College Highton.
Round six and 13 will be big ones of the club, hosting home matches at their home court, Altona Sports Centre.
The season will again be played prominently on Wednesday nights, with the odd weekend, with the grand final to be played on August 10,
All games are set to be live streamed again this season, after a successful introduction in 2021.
The Falcons list for next season is starting to take shape, with a number of familiar numbers set to return.
Jane Cook, Madelyn Gray, Zoe Davies, Montana Holmes, Melissa Oloamanu Soli Ropati, Tahnysha Salanoa, Sarah Szczykulski and Emma Walters who were in this year’s championship division team are back.
The big out is captain Maggie Lind. Lind, who shared the competition most valuable player award, has signed with Collingwood’s Super Netball side.
In a plus for the Falcons, goaler Uneeq Palavi returns to the Falcons having played elsewhere the last couple of years.
