A blockbuster A-League clash between Melbourne Victory and Western United could be the perfect way to spend Boxing Day night.
If you’re keen to leave the house after all the celebrations or looking to spend time with your family celebrating your favourite team, you are in for a good night.
While the Ashes clash across the road will take much of the spotlight, Victory and United will do battle in the second match of a double header at AMMI Park.
It will be the second time the two teams have faced each other this season, with Victory winning 1-0 in round one. Both teams have showed some good early form.
Melbourne Victory’s A-League women’s side will take to the field beforehand in the first of the two matches, against Melbourne City in which should be a cracker.
The first match starts at 5.05pm, with the men to kick off at 7.45pm.
