Police are investigating the death of a man in Sunshine North on Tuesday night.
Emergency services were called to a property on Essex Street about 8.35pm following reports of an injured man.
Paramedics provided medical treatment but the 24-year-old Sunshine North man died at the scene.
Police have said the exact circumstances are still to be established, but it’s believed it was a targeted incident.
Police do not believe there is any immediate threat to the community.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity at the property last night, or anyone in the area who may have CCTV or dash cam footage.
