Police investigating house fire

Police are investigating a fire in Albanvale this morning, which resulted in neighbouring houses being evacuated.

Emergency services were called to the unoccupied President Road home following reports of a fire after 2am.

Due to the size of the fire, neighbouring homes were evacuated as a precaution.

At this stage the fire is being treated as suspicious with a crime scene set up, with a fire investigator and Brimbank detectives set to attend the scene this morning.
