A Taylors Lakes man and a Keilor Downs man are among those who are nearly $1 million richer after sharing in Saturday’s TattsLotto division 1 prize.

There were six division 1 winners on Saturday night, who each have won $974,297.53.

A Keilors Downs father was left sleepless after discovering his win in the early hours of the morning.

He said he would start looking for a new house and setting his children up for the future.

“I checked my numbers this morning at 1am, and then I was looking at my phone until 6am,” he told Lotto officials.

“I was just looking at it – checking my numbers over and over again.

“Mate, I’ve been playing those numbers for years.

“I’m still trying to take it all in. This has just changed my life.”

The Taylors Lakes winner was left speechless after discovering that he had shared in the top prize.

“I went home yesterday afternoon and thought I would scan my ticket on the app,” he explained.

“Well! I was speechless.

“The most I’ve ever won is $1200. This is all still sort of sinking in.

“I’ve been playing the same numbers for a while. The numbers weren’t anything particularly special… but they are now.

“We’re thinking we might do some home renovations and give some to the kids. The whole family will benefit.”
