All dressed up but no car to drive
A 32-year-old Sunbury driver may now have a neatly ironed shirt, but he has no car after being caught speeding more than 50km/h above the limit on the Calder Freeway, Keilor on October 1. The man was allegedly doing 130km/h in an 80 zone. Brimbank highway patrol’s Senior Constable Ken Zeffert said they stopped the man in his Subaru WRX about 1pm, and he admitted to speeding home because he was in a rush to iron his shirt. The vehicle was impounded and the driver received a summons for speeding.
