Police are investigating after a man sustained minor injuries from a gunshot wound in Caroline Springs early this morning.
The incident occurred on Caroline Springs Boulevard, near Federation Way, about 12.15am.
An 18-year-old Kings Way man suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body and was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
The exact circumstances are yet to be established and the investigation remains ongoing.
Federation Way remains closed to traffic while police remain at the scene.
