Help needed to solve robbery

Brimbank police have repeated calls for information on an armed robbery at a licensed club in Albion in March. Two men in balaclavas, one holding a gun, confronted a female staff member in the front carpark of the Talmage Street venue just before 9.30pm on March 19, demanding she let them inside. Once they had entered, a second firearm was produced and the staff member was forced to open the safe. The men took most of the cash. The staff member had her hands bound with tape and her mouth taped, and was ordered to count to 10 while the men fled through the front door. After freeing herself, she called police. Send information to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Correction

In our story ‘Brimbank motorists pay high price for parking errors’, published on November 25, the article stated that parking fines in Brimbank start at $18 for parking within 10 metres of an intersection. This is not correct.
The council fines motorists $148 for parking within 10 metres of an intersection. The incorrect figure was provided to

Star Weekly by Brimbank council.
