Man shot in Taylors Lakes home invasion

A 21-year-old man has been shot during a terrifying home invasion in Taylors Lakes last night.

Police have been told three offenders attended a property at Robertsons Road about 11.50pm and were confronted by the home owners.

The trio made demands for the family’s car keys and discharged a firearm towards two of the home owners as they left the scene.

One of the men sustained a minor injury to his upper body and was taken to hospital for treatment in a stable condition.

The other man, along with the four other occupants at home at the time of the incident, weren’t injured.

A crime scene has been set up and the investigation is ongoing.
