An alleged drunk driver has come just centimetres from crashing into a Taylors Lakes home after her car flipped and finished up in its front yard.
A 43-year-old woman was pulled from the Hyundai Sedan, which came to a halt on its side in the driveway of the Queen Victoria Crescent property on January 25.
The driver refused a breath test when police arrived, instead crying and collapsing on her side.
A witness to the crash said the woman had still been trying to start the car while it was perched on its side.
The driver was taken from the scene in a police van and was later released.
She is expected to be charged on summons with drink-driving offences.
