Two men arrested in St Albans

A shotgun and ammunition were allegedly discarded after police chased two men in St Albans yesterday.

Police were called to Oberon Avenue about 11.30am following reports that two men, one carrying a shotgun, were looking into houses.

Police said two men were seen on Vincent Avenue but fled on foot. They were chased to Padley Park where a shotgun and ammunition were discarded.

Two St Albans men, both aged in their 30s were arrested and are currently assisting police with their inquiries.
