IN FOCUS: It’s all about the entertainment

The award-winning Taylors Lakes Hotel is well known for its fantastic food in JBJ’s Restaurant and the sporting heaven in its new International Sports Bar – not forgetting the many function rooms for birthdays, engagements, weddings and conferences, but Marketing Manager Terry Gunn says it’s now focusing on becoming the best entertainment hub in the North West.

“We offer such a quality product and service to our customers throughout the entire hotel,” he says. “However, our customers were asking for more entertainment by way of great acts and some dinner/show options, so we have listened and are acting accordingly.”

So this year, Taylors Lakes Hotel has booked in some new entertainment that will certainly please its customers.

“We started with The BEATLEZ on March 23 which has already sold out, so we encourage customers to please book as soon as possible for any of our upcoming dinner/shows to avoid disappointment.”

Later in the year the hotel has also booked the amazing SOUL CHISEL – the Jimmy Barnes Story in May, TUSK – the fantastic Fleetwood Mac Tribute in July, INXSive – the best tribute to INXS in September, as well as two of their iconic shows, BABBA in November, and the popular ELVIS Tribute returns for Christmas.

The shows are held in the hotel’s recently refurbished Starlight Ballroom and complemented with some of the most delicious two course meals. All shows perform with full sound and lighting production on the hotel’s new elevated stage ensuring that a great view is had by all those attending.

“Both visually and acoustically, this is a fantastic environment for entertainment,” Terry says. “Everybody can see and hear and you are never too far away to have upfront and personal connections with the acts.”

Terry says if shows prove popular with locals, the hotel is planning to expand the entertainment variety for the coming years to serve the local community and reach its goal of becoming an Entertainment Hub in the North West.
