Cannabis house busted

The state drug taskforce raided a vacant ‘grow’ house that backs on to a primary school in Taylors Hill last week, removing 29 cannabis plants.

Detectives executed a warrant about midday on February 4 and removed the immature plants, as well as lights and heaters, from the Cooks Way property.

Leading Senior Constable Paul Turner said the premises behind Taylors Hill Primary School appeared to be an unoccupied house used to grow drugs.

“Currently we have no one in custody, and the investigation is ongoing,” Leading Senior Constable Turner said.
