It was a mixed bag of results for Sunshine at the under-15 state softball championships on Saturday.
In the club’s first match of the day against western suburbs rival Werribee, Sunshine came up short, losing 4-2. But the players quickly rallied, winning two of their next three matches to qualify for the second division final.
In what was a tough contest, Sunshine eventually went down to Albury Wodonga, 10-5.
