Teenage boy arrested over Brimbank armed robberies

UPDATE: Police have arrested a teenage boy following three armed robberies at Brimbank service stations on Tursday morning.

Investigators are currently interviewing the 15-year-old St Albans boy, while a second offender, believed to be of African appearance, remains at large. 

No charges have been laid at this stage.

It is believed that the same two knife-wielding offenders were responsible for three incidents in St Albans, Sunshine and Albion between 1am and 6.45am on Tuesday.

Cash and cigarettes were stolen and no one was injured during the incidents.
