Bus drivers strike called off

UPDATE: Planned industrial action, which was set to affect several bus routes in Wyndham and Geelong tomorrow, has been cancelled.

Earlier this week, bus company CDC Victoria  warned commuters of potential “significant disruptions” to its services on Thursday, due to a 24-hour work stoppage planned by the Transport Workers Union (TWU).

Bus drivers were set to walk off the job, but the TWU has now called off the strike, which means all CDC services tomorrow will run as per normal, including school services.  Passengers have been advised to keep an eye on http://cdcvictoria.com.au/news/latest-news or follow CDC on Twitter @cdcvictoria for updates.
