After years going there for her teeth, Keilor Downs painter Margaret McGregor wants to return the favour to Melbourne’s Royal Dental Hospital with a few flicks of her own brush.
To show her appreciation for the positive impact its dentistry has had on her life, she’s donated one of her acrylic landscape paintings to the hospital.
“I used to go to my local dentist, but it was too dear when you are on a pension,” she said.
“A lot of children are benefiting from dental care at the hospital, and I just really appreciate the work they have done.” says Margaret, who turns 80 next year, said she returned to painting when her husband died two years ago, saying it provided a way to express her creativity.
