Twenty St Albans Tattslotto players celebrate division one syndicate win

Twenty Tattslotto players from St Albans have had a life changing start to the week after their syndicate won the division one prize in Saturday’s Tattslotto draw.

The group syndicate, whose shares were purchased from two different outlets in St Albans, won a prize totalling $438,322.52.

In addition to winning the division one prize of $417,040.52, the syndicate’s entry also won division three 24 times and division four 90 times.

The syndicate was created by St Albans Lucky Lotto and shares were sold at both St Albans Lucky Lotto and St Albans Lotto & Newsagency.

St Albans Lucky Lotto owner Tam Bui said he was thrilled the long-running syndicate had won.

“We’ve been playing the same syndicate for many, many years – It would have to be at least 15 years!” he said.

“We’ve sold about 10 division one winning entries over our time here, but our last one was about three years ago, so we are really excited to have sold another one.

“Many of our customers who play this syndicate are regular customers and local to the area.”

Mr Bui said some customers had already come forward.

“A few have already been in to claim their prize and they are thrilled, especially one customer who joined the syndicate recently after not winning anything on his own tickets.”
