There’s more to cycling than just pedal power … Brimbank bike enthusiasts and those looking for a greener and often swifter commute can learn how to harness battery power while they ride. A free event at the Brimbank Bicycle Education Centre on Sunday, July12, from 10.30am to 2.30pm will provide the know-how. Cyclists can discover how to put battery power onto a bicycle or tricycle from REV Bikes experts, then they can uncover Brimbank’s many bike paths. REV Bikes recommends trading in the car for an electric bike to save on money and stress. The bike centre is at Club House Place, just off Green Gully Road at Keilor Downs.
