Brimbank will host a Master of Minecraft competition for school children as their holidays draw to a close this week. Minecraft is an interactive game, which mixes “survival” and creative thinking, allowing kids to create their own worlds. Starting today, four libraries will host the competition for children aged five to 16. Deer Park library starts the ball rolling today; both Sydenham and St Albans libraries have their turn on Wednesday, with Sunshine library hosting a session on Thursday. Participants can win a gift voucher as part of the Brimbank council-run competition. Each session is from 2.30pm to 4pm.
