Diwali Festival

Tarneit Central is celebrating the Diwali Festival on October 19. As well as festival activities, a new Indian grocer will open, traditional dancers will perform from noon-1pm.

Morning tea

Werribee RSL Women’s Auxiliary will be hosting a Rawleigh’s Health Care Range morning tea. At the RSL in Synnot Street Werribee, from 10am, October 20. Morning tea Supplied, $5 entry.

Try Bowls Day

The Hoppers Bowls Club is conducting a Try Bowls Day for anyone interested in trying lawn bowls. All equipment, coaches will be provided. Everyone welcome. Free barbecue and the chance to win random prizes. Bring a friend, neighbor, family member. Sunday, October 29 from 11am-3pm.

Boo at the Zoo!

Are you brave enough to celebrate Halloween at the Zoo? Come dressed in costume, enjoy kids’ activities, themed music and food in the spookiest event of the year. From 5.30-8.30pm on October 27 and 28, at Werribee Open Range Zoo.

State Rose and Garden Show

The State Rose and Garden Show will be back on November 11 and 12 from 10am-4pm. Attractions include exhibitors, stage events, workshops, guided tours, lawn games for the children and food and beverages.

Flick football

The Western Flickers Table Football Club will be having its annual tournament, the Altona Cup, on October 21.
