Motorcyclist dies on Calder Freeway

A motorcyclist has died after his bike and a car collided on the Calder Freeway in Taylors Lakes on Monday.
Leading Senior Constable Lee Thomson said police believe the motorcyclist was travelling outbound, near Kings Road, just before midnight on Monday when he lost control and struck a car travelling in the same direction.
The three occupants of the car were not injured.
Police are yet to identify the deceased man.
