Sunshine Food Fever, a Melbourne Food and Wine Festival event, has sold out.

All 90 tickets to the three four-course progressive dinners were snapped up a month out from the first outing on March 31.

Those lucky enough to get their hands on tickets will be taken on a food journey beginning at Ka Pies in Hampshire Road.

They’ll then sample north Vietnamese dry pho, followed by a traditional Ethiopian or Indian banquet.

The meals will be rounded out with Afghan sweets and drinks.

The Sunshine Business Association, which is hosting the dinners, said the journey would reflect the Asian, African and Pacific Island migration “that makes Sunshine one of the most culturally diverse places in Australia”.

The association’s Tracey Cammock said the sell-out was a sign the event had potential for expansion.

“It’s good news and maybe next year we can get more businesses involved,” she said.
