Armed pair strike again

A manhunt is under way for two men believed to be responsible for four armed robberies across Brimbank.

The most recent incidents happened last Monday night when two businesses were targeted – a fast food restaurant at St Albans and, an hour later, a service station at Albion.

The same pair is believed responsible for the armed robbery of a liquor outlet at St Albans on April 17 and another, four days earlier, when the men, one armed with a hammer and the other with a knife, entered the rear door of a McDonald’s restaurant on Mount Derrimut Road, Derrimut, threatening staff with the weapons and demanding cash.

Video footage of the men then shows them walking west along Foleys Road.

One man was wearing a black hooded jacket, blue pants, boots and gloves. His accomplice was wearing black pants and hooded jacket and had a bandanna covering his mouth.

Brimbank Embona taskforce detectives have released two images of the men they believe may be able to help police with their inquiries.

Anyone with information about these armed robberies is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
