Sunshine’s early days

The early days of Sunshine are the focus of two exhibitions running together at Hunt Club Community Arts Centre, 775 Ballarat Road, Deer Park, until May 9. Industries of Sunshine and Districts 1860s to 1950s, is a collection of photographs, objects and printed material put together by the Sunshine and District Historical Society to celebrate Sunshine’s industrial history, beyond the well-known Sunshine Harvester Works. Photographic exhibition Click of the West: 27 years documenting Melbourne’s West, by Des Johnson, is also on display.
