Keilor Thunder has named Tom Bandilovski as its division 1 women’s coach for the 2017 Big V basketball season.
Bandilovski previously coached at Keilor for three years from 2006, working with the under-12 and under-14 girls’ sides.
He was head coach of Diamond Valley in the Big V youth women’s championship from 2013-14 and 2014-15, making the finals in both years.
Bandilovski said he was excited about returning to the club where his coaching journey began.
“After a decade of coaching I am heading back to where it all started,” Bandilovski said.
“Keilor has come a long way since 2007 – it is great to see the investment that has been made in the facilities.
“Keilor has big plans for the future and I am looking forward to being part of the future vision and success of the senior program.
“My passion for basketball stems from years of playing basketball in the Yugoslavian Basketball leagues and I am extremely pleased that I have had the opportunity to pass on that knowledge.”
