Man, teen on robbery charges

Brimbank crime investigation unit detectives have charged a teenage boy and a man following three armed robberies of service stations in St Albans, Sunshine and Albion on March 31. A 15-year-old St Albans boy was arrested on the day of the offending and last week charged with three counts of armed robbery. He will appear at a children’s court at a later date. Investigators also arrested and charged an 18-year-old Derrimut man last Wednesday. He faces three counts of armed robbery and was remanded in custody to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
