Albanvale motorcyclist dies following St Albans collision

An Albanvale motorcyclist has died in hospital after colliding with a car in St Albans last Friday afternoon.

The man was travelling south on Station Road around 2.40pm when a car coming from the other direction attempted a U-turn, police say.

The man received life threatening injuries after being hit by the car and died in hospital yesterday afternoon.

Police are investigating the incident. Witnesses are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
