A Burnside man has had a prestige Mercedes impounded after a high speed test drive through a Deer Park school zone on Wednesday morning.
Brimbank Highway Patrol clocked the 37-year-old flying along Ballarat Road around 9am in a 2014 Mercedes at 91km/h in a 40km/h zone.
Officers immediately impounded the car for 30 days under hoon legislation.
The man is expected to be charged on summons with speeding offences.
