Bikies arrested in North Sunshine

Two men were arrested in Sunshine North this morning as part of an ongoing operation targeting motorcycle gangs.

Echo Taskforce detectives arrested the men after executing a search warrant at a property in Rice Flower Road about 6am.

Police media officer Sergeant Melissa Seach said one of the men has linked to outlaw motorcycle group Hells Angels.

Four guns, ammunition and cash were apparently seized from the property.

The men, aged in their 30s, are currently assisting police with their investigation and are expected to be charged late on Wednesday.

Acting Sergeant Seach said the warrant was part of an ongoing Echo Taskforce investigation in relation to firearms.
